Castelldefels is a cosy seaside town just south of Barcelona in the Baix Llobregat comarca but still in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is located just to the north of the Massís del Garraf and is the last town on the coast before the next comarca which is called Garraf. There are two stations in Castelldefels. The Castelldefels town station and the Castelldefels beach station. The railway company is called Renfe. The trains connections are called Cercanias/Rodalies: The trains to Castelldefels town and Castelldefels beach are on the R2 south line which departs from stations in the center of Barcelona to outlying suberbs of Barcelona and towns nearby. Regional trains to Castelldefels leave every 15 minutes from various stations in Barcelona including Passeig de Gracia (currently undergoing renovation), Catalunya or Sants: Price for a return ticket around 8 euros.
