Sala Montjuic bus service from Plaça Espanya to castle from 20:15 to 01:00. Bus name is "Plaça Espanya - Castell" Sala Montjuic is outdoor cinema and concert three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in July in Barcelona. Enjoy outdoor classic and indie original version movies on a giant screen and have a picnic on the lawn of Montjuic Castle moat. Before each screening there is usually live music. 21.00 Live music 22:00 Short film 22:15 Movie: Inception. How to get to Montjuic Castle Barcelona
Montjuic Castle "Castell de Montjuïc" in Barcelona is located on the highest point of the Montjuic hill which is visible from from the city centre on the south coast of Barcelona on the way to the airport. Montjuic castle overlooks the sea and Barcelona city from an altitude of 170 metres with superb views of Barcelona city and the port area. The castle is a former military fort and was handed over from the military to the City of Barcelona in 2008. The castle is now used to host a variety of cultural events including the festival Montjuic de Nit and the Merce Festival. The Castle is open to the public and admission is free.
