Where to watch the game in Barcelona?
The 2012 final will not be shown on outdoor public giant screens (pantalla gigante) on Plaza Catalunya or Arc de Triomf in Barcelona. There are no giant screens in Barcelona. No Hyundai Fan Park in Barcelona. It's a shame as there are many Barca players and Iniesta scored the winning goal for La Roja two years ago when they won the world cup. But no giant screen in Barcelona. This is probably a good thing for this final because the weather forecast for Sunday 1st July 2012 is heavy rain for most of day today in Catalunya. If (when) Spain win the Euro cup then the La Roja Spanish fans usually meet at Plaza Espanya and not Plaza Catalunya. There will be big public screens in nearby towns Badalona, L’Hospitalet on la Plaça de Francesc Macià and Cornellá.

But the game is free to watch on Spanish TV station Telecinco, so every bars in Barcelona will show the game. Telecinco has Euro2012 coverage all day and the final starts at 20:45 Spanish time, so we recommend instead you head for many bars in Barcelona. Most Irish and English pubs in Barcelona have big screens. Find the Irish pubs in Barcelona.

Latest news is that injured Barça and La Roja players Puyol and Villa have been invited to Kiev by the Spanish Football Federation to join the squad and help inspire them on to victory over Italy today. If Spain win it will be a the first time a national team win three international titles in a row.

You can watch Eurogames free in Spain on Spanish TV channels Cuatro or Telecinco

The final of Euro Cup 2012 will be played at stadium NSK Olimpiyskyi in Kiev, Ukraine which is the second largest in Eastern Europe) with seating capacity of 65,400. Spain - La Roja - are defending European Football Champions and hopefully we will bring back the cup to Spanish soil again in 2012. The Spanish team are nicknamed "La Roja" (the red) or "La Furia Roja" (the red fury) and less frequently "L'equip d'or" (the golden team) and often they are called "La Selección."   The Spanish manager is Vicente del Bosque. He has again picked many key Barça players for the Spanish squad. The FCB players in Euro 2012 are Cesc Fàbregas, Andrés Iniesta, Xavi Hernández, Víctor Valdés, Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets, Pedro Rodríguez. The Spanish national team are current World Champions and European Champions and their succes is often attributed to the style of play similar to Barca's with many short and accurate passes which has been dubbed "Tiki-taka."
