Barcelona in December is cold in the morning and evening, so pack light but warm clothes. If you are going on day tours to indland regions or high mountain areas, then bring a winter jacket and boots.

It can be quite warm and pleasant during mid-day, so in general for a December and Christmas stay in Barcelona, pack light winter clothes clothes and include cap, scarf and gloves for windy days.
