Information:
The Fira de Santa Llúcia is Barcelona's biggest Christmas market with around 192 stands selling Christmas decorations. It is located in front of Barcelona's cathedral in the Gothic quarter. Special days include the 1 day festival Diada de les tradicions nadalencs on Saturday 14th December, which features extra Christmas activities for children including the 'Christmas face' - 'Carassa de Nadal de Barcelona' and a Christmas concert. Please note this market is not a food and drink gathering place. The stands focus on selling traditional Christmas decorations and ornaments. From end November there are special 'Tió gegant' activities for the children. 13th December is 'Dia de Santa Llúcia' - Saint Lucy.

Avinguda de la Catedral - Pla de la Seu, Barcelona. Pla de la Seu is the square located in front of Barcelona cathedral in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. It is part of series of square that comprises Plà de la Seu and extends into Plaça Nova.  Avinguda de la Catedral is often used for markets including an antiques market, the Santa Lucia Christmas market and for other events in connections with annual festivals in Barcelona like the Santa Eulalia festival and La Merce Festival. There is usually a gathering of sardana dancing every Sunday at noon in front of Barcelona cathedral
