MMCAT Museu del Modernisme Català.
Temporarily closed 2024. Barcelona's only modernist museum which showcase the modernist movement that created so many famous modernist buildings and designs in Barcelona. The MMCAT is located in a modernist building designed by Enric Sagnier between 1902 and 1904. The museum has two floors, one with furniture, paintings and sculpture. Exhibits include furniture by
Antoni Gaudí designed for the world famous Casa Batlló and Casa Calvet houses, gilt-framed mirrors by Josep Maria Jujol and 300 other fabulous modernist works.
