The Market Hotel Restaurant is open to non-residents and has quite a following. The décor is simple, with lots of whitewashed wood giving the interior a cool classy feel. The menu is quite varied and excellent value, combining Catalan cuisine with the odd Oriental and Italian dish. There's a range of salads, such as spinach and bacon with parmesan shavings, rice and pasta dishes, imaginative seafood and meat creations but also many dishes suitable for vegetarians. The desert menu also has an international flavour and the chocolate soufflé with an orange tang is definitely recommended.
