Covid rules to visit Andorra from Barcelona, Spain

What do you need to visit Andorra


Remember too, that you must have a passport or identity card both when you enter or leave Andorra

Andorra is not in the EU European Union - and is not in the Schengen zone. This means that if you are a citizen of a country inside the Schengen area you wonçt need a visa, just your passport.

If you are a citizen of a country outside the Schengen zone then you will both need passport a Schengen multiple-entry visa to cross the border between either Spain and France in Andorra.

This is because when you visit Andorra you leave the Schengen zone and then re-enter. If you only have a single entry Schengen visa, then you visa will expired when you enter Andorra.

A Schengen visa is a short stay visa allowing its holder to circulate in the entire Schengen area which covers 27 countries. These are also called "Schengen States" .

Schengen countries do not have border controls between them.

The Schengen countries are:

Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
