You can see excellent Flamenco dancing in Barcelona. Although Flamenco is traditionally linked with the culture of the south of Spain, Barcelona has a wonderful tradition of flamenco dancing and clubs and some of Spain's most famous Flamenco artists including Carmen Amaya came from Barcelona.

Flamenco has also spread world-wide and you can now find flamenco fans and schools all over the world. Apparently in Japan, there are more flamenco school than in Spain. Flamenco is one of the world's most famous dances and is a wonderful and inspiring to watch live.

Althought most people think of Flamenco as a dance, a flamenco show also includes amazing vocals and Spanish guitar music.

In November 2010 UNESCO declared flamenco one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, so we recommend that you spend a few hours in Barcelona enjoying a Flamenco show.

There are several top Flamenco shows where you can enjoy a show of 30 minutes to 1 hour and also include tapas.
