Pichichi and Zamora trophy

Pichichi award

The Pichichi is an award won by the top Spanish league goalscorer in each season. The title is awarded by the Spanish sports paper Marca and is named after legendary Athletic Bilbao player, Rafael Moreno Aranzadi nicknamed "Pichichi" who played in the 1910s and 1920s. You can see the Pichichi statistics on the Marca magazine website. The award for best goalkeeper in the Spanish league is called the the Ricardo Zamora Trophy.
