Metro timetables for Christmas Eve 2024, New Year's Eve and Kings Day



Christmas Eve: metro service operates until midnight.

Christmas day: 25th of December, metro service ends at 2 am.

Sant Esteve's day: 26th of December, the metro service operates until midnight.

New Year's Eve: 31th of December, continuous service throughout Saturday to Sunday night.

New Year's Day: 1st of January, the metro service operates until midnight.

Three King's Eve: 5th January, metro service ends at 2 am.

Three King's Day: 6th January, continuous service throughout Saturday to Sunday night.

Montjuïc Funicular: Info
Working days, Mondays to Fridays: from 07:30 to 20:00
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: from 09:00 to 20:00.

Montjuïc Cable Car: Info
From 10.00 am to 6.00 pm
On December 25, January 1 and 6, the hours are from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

Barcelona Bus Turístico: Info
From 9 am to 7 pm. Services start running at the majority of stops between 9 am and 9.30 am and final departures are at 7 pm. Buses run daily, except on 1 January and 25 December. 

Barcelona Christmas Tour: Info
Bus tour of Christmas lights. Operates from 24 November 2023 to 4 January 2024 (except on 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January), with service from Monday to Sunday and departure times at 18.30 and 20.30 h.

Night buses during the holidays


The Barcelona Nitbus will offer its usual service from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. every 20 minutes, as it does 365 days a year.
