Over 400,000 euros raised so far in 2013. Trailwalker is the greatest team challenge of the world fight against poverty. What is Trailwalker? The trailwalker challenge is for a team of four members to walk 100km in less than 32 hours. The Barcelona / Girona version starts in Olot and ends in Sant Feliu de Guixols on the Costa Brava coast. The members of the team must start together, stay together and finish together. The Trailwalker is organised by Oxfam and the objective is to raise money and awareness in the fight against poverty and injustice around the world. Each teams commit themselves to obtain donations for Intermón Oxfam and must donate 1500 in total. The route follows the old rail track “Pyrenees-Costa Brava,” which connects the mountain to the sea through impressive landscapes from the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone along the path of the old narrow-gauge train tracks. This route is now for hikers and nature lovers, through wooded landscapes and mountains, before descending slowly towards the coast of the town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
