Jornada de Portes Obertes Mercè. Many top museums and Barcelona landmarks take part in the Mercè festival by opening their doors to the public for free one or more of the Mercè festival days. This is called Jornada de Portes Obertes - open house day. Many museums choose the Friday 22nd September for 2024 but some museums might have other dates or be free on multiple days. Check each museum website to confirm. Several theatres in Barcelona also offer half price tickets during the Mercè festival.
