How to get to Avinguda de la Catedral

Avinguda de la Catedral Barcelona. This is the square located in front of Barcelona cathedral in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. It is part of series of square that also comprises Plà de la Seu and extends into Plaça Nova.  Avinguda de la Catedral is often used for markets including an antiques market, the Santa Lucia Christmas market and for other events in connections with annual festivals in Barcelona like the Santa Eulalia festival and La Merce Festival.

There is usually a gathering of sardanes dancing every Sunday at noon in front on the cathedral
