The Plaza Real is one of Barcelona most famous squares in the heart of Barcelona's gothic area just off the walking street Las Ramblas. It is a perfect place to have breakfast in the morning or an afternoon snack or pre-dinner drink. The plaza has a fantastic atmosphere and under the arches you will find excellent bars, clubs and tapas restaurants. In the middle are towering palm trees, a cooling fountain and two street lamps designed by Antoni Gaudi.
