Golden Fish sculpture Barcelona - "Pez Dorado"

Frank O. Gehry designed the 35m x54m copper latice 'FISH' sculpture that soars in front of the Hotel Arts in Barcelona's Olympic Port area. The name of the sculpture is 'PEIX' in the Catalan language.

The Golden Fish sculpture  in the Port Olimpic area in Barcelona was designed by architect Frank Gehry for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. The Golden Fish is placed to mark the start of the Olympic harbour promenade used for sailing events in 1992.

This iconic sculpture is in front of Barcelona's twin towers of the Hotel Arts and the Mapfre office tower and close to Barcelona's Olympic village. Gehry also designed the 5 star Hotel Arts with architect Bruce Graham.
