The Barcelona World Race winners!

The Barcelona World Race is a new two-man, non-stop round the world yacht race tbat started on the 11th November 2007 in Barcelona and is to be held every four years.

For the first time in 2007, this race sees the world's best professional sailors from both solo and fully crewed disciplines coming together to compete against each other in teams of two.

Congratulations to the Paprec-Virbac 2 team who arrived in Barcelona on 13th February 2008 to win the first Barcelona World Race. Click on the link below to read the story from Jean-Pierre Dick and Damian Foxall, who manned the winner boat.
