Marathon trivia.

In 2012 a Catalan "gegant" giant - or actually a female "geganta" giantess - made its debut in the Barcelona marthon for the first time ever. The geganters team "Colla de Geganters de Sant Celoni" entered the giantess Maria del Puig of Sant Celoni in the Bcn marathon to celebrate her 30th anniversary and carried the geganta on their shoulders from start to finish, where her giant male companion Martí de Sant Celoni and other geganters of St Celoni waited for her at the finish line.
