Pirena exhibition in Barcelona Nova Icaria

Fun family day on Nova Icaria beach when the organisers of the annual Pirena dog sled race in the Pyrenees mountains called "Pirena, la ruta blanca de los Pirineos" - (Pirena, the white route of the Pyrenees) set up camp on the beach in Barcelona.

As a warm up to the annual Pirena sled dog race across the Pyrenees Mountains, the organisers bring the dogs and teams to Barcelona where they make have a dogsled ride on the beach, help build a genuine Pyrenees race camp and see sleighs and dogs. Free admission. The 22 edition of the real dog sled race in the mountains with over 40 international teams competing starts in late January and finishes in the first week of February.
