What's on in April 2024 in Barcelona


April is a fantastic month to visit Barcelona. The weather is usually sunny and warm and there are many events and many things to do in April in Barcelona. In April 2024 you can enjoy concerts at the Barcelona Guitar Festival and classical concerts at Barcelona concert halls including the Liceu opera house, the Palau de la Musica - and at the Auditori concert hall.  

A big festival day on 23rd April is Sant Jordi's day -  'el Día de Sant Jordi' - St. George's day which is considered to be Barcelona's most romantic day of the year.

April Sports in Barcelona
There is world class soccer action as FC Barcelona battle for trophies. Check the FC Barcelona calendar for dates of all Barça games at the Olympic stadium on Montjuic hill where FC Barcelona are playing while their home ground Camp Nou stadium is under renovation.

For motor fans, Barcelona's Circuit Catalunya racetrack hosts the Barcelona European Le Mans Series.

Tennis fans can enjoy of the world's top tennis stars including Nadal, Alcaraz in Barcelona in April for the Barcelona Open Tennis tournament for male professional players. The event was founded in 1953 as a combined men's and women's tournament until 1980. It is played at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain on clay courts and is also known as Torneo Barcelona.

At the end of April month the annual Andalucian festival Feria de Abril de Catalunya usually takes place at Port Forum in Barcelona and continues into May.
