How to get to Moll de la Fusta
Moll de Bosch i Alsina, is more popularly known as
Moll de la Fusta, is in Barcelona's
Port Vell (old port) harbour. Fusta means "wood" in the Catalan language and no prizes for guessing that the Moll de la Fusta got its name from the warehouses that stowed wood.
The Moll de la Fusta runs parallel with the street 'Passeig de Colom.' The maritime museum schooner
Santa Eulalia is moored here and open to the public. This wharf is very popular for harbour walks and often used for events and fairs. The Moll de la Fusta is on the border of Barcelona's
gothic area and the
Barceloneta area of old city.
