Wild Boars in Barcelona

There is quite a big population of wild boars / wild pigs in the Collserola park which is behind the western hills of Barcelona. The number of wild boars is estimated at around 800. They can also be seen in the upper areas of Barcelona foraging in the garbage containers especially early in the morning or late at night. Wild boars are called "porcs senglars" in Catalan.
