Nou Mercat dels Encants Barcelona Flea Market

Nou Mercat dels Encants

Nou Mercat dels Encants. New flea market Barcelona. Barcelona flea market on Plaza Glories is called "Els Encants Vells" which means "the old charms."

It moved to a new location near the old Encants market in 2013 and is now called the Nou Mercat dels Encants and features multi-levels under a spectacular triangular zinc roof.

The official Barcelona flea market name is "Mercat de Fira de Bellcaire."  It is Barcelona's biggest flea market where you can find an eclectic mix of second-hand items, new clothes and all kinds of knick-knacks.

Encants Market o Fira del Bellcaire is also one of the oldest markets in Europe with origins as far back as the 14th century.

“Encants Vells” also hosts a public auction every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 8:00 – 9:30

For antique hunters, the selection at Encants Vells is not that impressive, but there are some finds to be made, if you are looking to fill the gaps in your apartment with cheap furniture and odds and ends.

The Fira de Bellcaire flea market is open on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday from 09.00 to 18.00.
