FC Barcelona museum at Camp Nou stadium

The Camp Nou stadium and FC Barcelona museum is the second most popular museum visit in Barcelona. Access to the Spotify Camp Nou stadium is not possible at the moment due to ongoing renovations. For this reason, the FC Barcelona Museum has moved to a new temporary space near the stadium.

Miro Museum on Montjuic hill

The Miro Museum Fundacio Joan Miró has a lovely location on Montjuic hill and is worth visting both for the art and the city views. The Miró museum exhibits primarily works by Miró but also has a space called 'Espai 13' which is dedicated to promoting works by upcoming experimental artists and works by Peter Greenaway, Chillida, René Magritte, Rothko, Tàpies and Saura. The Miró foundation building was designed by Josep Lluís Sert who designed the structure with courtyards and terraces to create a natural path for visitors to move through the building.

The MNAC art museum at the Palau Nactional is at the foot of Montjuic hill and near the Magic Fountain and Plaza Espanya. It's a wonderful building and location. Highlights are roof-top terrace and the Picasso room. The MNAC museum has a outstanding collection of romanesque church paintings, and Catalan art from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including modernisme and noucentisme works.

MACBA modern art museum in Raval area is a must for modern art lovers. The MACBA has a large collection of contemporary art works by renowned Catalan, Spanish and international artists. The building, in which the colour white predominates, was designed by the North-American architect Richard Meier.
