The official Barca hymn or anthem made its debut at the Camp Nou stadium on November 27 1974 for the FCB's 75th anniversary at a game between FC Barcelona and the East German National team. A massive choir of 3500 singers conducted by Oriol Martorell performed the hymn in public for the very first time. The lyrics are by Jaume Picas and Josep Maria Espinàs and the music is by Manuel Valls Gorina.
