Festa Major Barceloneta. Annual neighbourhood party in the Barceloneta area of Barcelona's medieval center Ciutat Vella. Highlights of this festival feature many Catalan and Spanish traditions fun-fair, parades, fireworks, human tower building, sardana dancing and music. The patron saint of Barceloneta is Sant Miquel on September 29th. The saint lends his name to Sant Miquel beach and the Church of Sant Miguel del Port ( in Catalan : Església de Sant Miquel del Port).
