Frederic Marès museum Barcelona. The Frederic Marès museum was founded in 1946 with objects from the collection of the sculptor Frederic Marès (1893-1991) This collection is an outstanding collection of Spanish sculputre, with works dating from the pre-Roman era to the 20th century. The Sentimental Museum or Collectors´ room includes objects illustrating the daily life of Barcelona, from the 15th to the 20th century.
