Pilates is more than exercise.. it's a series of controlled movements designed to strenghen and strech muscles and engage your body and mind resulting in improved posture, flexibility, core strengh, muscle toning, reduction of aches and pains, destressing and realignment of the spine.. in other words -
a balanced body. At Studio Australia your program begins with an initial one-on-one, hour and a half Introductory Session with a senior instructor. You will be given a postural assessment and discuss with the instructor your history, injuries and what you would like to achieve from practicing Pilates.
You will also be introduced to the equipment and instructed in the technique of breathing. The result of this session is the development of an individual program to suit your body and needs.
After this you will attend one or more sessions a week and receive the attention and time required to fulfill your program. Most clients will notice the changes to their body in 3 - 5 sessions!
