El Gato de Botero
El Gato de Botero. Botero's cat. Enormous bronze cat sculpture on Rambla del Raval street in Raval area of Barcelona by artist, Fernando Botero. Fernando Botero's Cat was bought by Barcelona City Council in 1987 and was in various locations around the city until finally, in 2003, it found a home and a permanent location on the newly created Rambla del Raval street in the Raval area of Barcelona old city district. There is another sculpure in the same style by Botero the Horse in Terminal 2 of Barcelona Airport.
