La Pastisseria Barcelona - pastelería. Cake shop and cafe located on street Arago near Enric Granados and owned by one of Barcelona's best pastry chefs Josep Maria Rodríguez Guerola who has trained with Spain´s best chefs in Michelin starred restaurants. Guerola trained in one of France's best pastry restaurants, the Pâtisserie Fauchon in Paris. More recently he honed his craft at the the pastisseria Dolç by Yann Duytsche in Sant Cugat near Barcelona.
In 2011 Josep Maria Rodríguez Guerola was in the team that won the "Coupe Du Monde de la Pâtisserie" pastry world cup. He now owns his own pastry shop in Barcelona in the Eixample area, where you can find a tasty collection of cakes, sweets, croissants, muffins, coffees, teas and dessert wines.
