Ciutat Vella district. Port Vell translates to 'Old Port' in English. Port Vell has a long history as the city's main port and commercial hub. Today, while still functioning as a harbor for small boats, super yachts and some small cruise ships, Port Vell has also transformed itself into a popular leisure and entertainment area, offering various attractions, restaurants, and recreational facilities along its waterfront. Its vibrant marina provides a stunning backdrop for visitors creating a mesmerizing sight against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. The promenade along Port Vell harbour is lined with nice restaurants, stylish bars, and boutique shops.
