Plein Air Watercolour Barcelona. Now relocated to Mallorca. Watercolour painting holidays and workshops in and around Barcelona Spain by renowned Artist Paul Raymonde. 

Enjoy a fully tutored intensive urban-painting course on your vacation. Paul Raymonde offers small workshops (up to 5 people) sketching and painting at various scenic locations where he teaches how to compose and create classic impressionist watercolors.

The week long course is carefully structured and starts with simple plein-air value studies and ends with full colour paintings. The aim is to introduce the student to a solid and successful watercolour technique.

Subjects covered include plein-air sketching, composition and perspective followed by values, temperature and simple colour combinations. There is emphasis on good brush technique and colour mixing.

All painting equipment and picnic lunches are supplied.

Guests can either arrange their own accommodation or book to stay with Paul and his wife Angela in their comfortable rooftop apartment in center of Barcelona.
