How to get to FC Barcelona games at Olympic Stadium on Montjuïc hill


During the renovation of FC Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium, the team plays at Barcelona's Olympic Stadium on Montjuïc hill. The full name of the stadium is Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium. The capacity is 55,926 people.

Only men's games will take place at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium. The women's team will most likely continue to play at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.

The Olympic stadium is on Montjuïc hill.

Public transport or taxi, walking, motorbike bicycling is the best way to get the stadium before a game. Private cars are not allowed 3 hours before kick-off. Motorbikes are allowed.  

There will only be parking at the stadium for cars with people with reduced mobility, with club commitments or who are working as match staff on match day. 

Motorbikes are allowed. 3,500 motorcycle parking spaces will be available around the Olympic stadium and there are bicycle parking stations and a new bike lane that will go from Plaça Espanya to Miramar Avenue.

How to get to Olympic stadium

To help fans arrive by public transport, there will be extra trains on metro lines L1, L2, L3, L8 and L10 Sud metro and FGC train lines. 

FC Barcelona fans coming from further afield by car, can park at the Gran Via Fira de l'Hospitalet parking and take special shuttle buses to the stadium two hours before games and an hour and a half hours after the game. The Fira Gran Via shuttle buses can take 4,400 people per hour.

There will also be shuttle buses from Plaça Espanya to the Olympic Stadium. Places on the Plaça Espanya are free for match ticket-holders. 

The work to to renovate FC Barcelona's Spotify Camp Nou stadium started in June 2023. This will be a 3 year renovation. The plan is to return to Camp Nou in November 2024 but only with 50% capacity. The renovation is scheduled to be finished in 2026.
