Souvenir shops in the city center, restaurants and cinemas are open on 1st May in Barcelona. 

The only Barcelona shopping mall that is open on May first in the city is Maremagnum mall in Port Vell marina.

Maremagnum has a special license due to its location in Barcelona marina.
Luxury outlet shopping village La Roca Village i also open on May 1st - La Roca Village is 30 minutes outside Barcelona by car or shuttle bus.
